Check your Body Mass Index (BMI).  If it is below 20 you do not need to lose weight.  If it is above 26, you possibly do.

Although weight alone is a fair indicator as to whether a person is over weight it is more accurate to use their BMI. This describes body weight relative to height and is strongly correlated with how much body mass (including fat) a person has:

Weight (kg) / height (m)2 = BMI

(Weight (Ibs) / height (in)2) X 703 = BMI

Meaning of the BMI value:

Below 20 Underweight, 20 - 25 normal, 26 - 30 overweight. 31-35 obese, above 35 Super obese.
